Physician and partner Jatinder S. Pruthi, MD, is associated with InSite Digestive, located in Lancaster California. Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer, and Principal Investigator of Om Research. The former chairman of the department of medicine at Lancaster Community Hospital has additional experience with serving on various hospital boards. As of now, Dr. Pruthi is currently an attending staff gastroenterologist at Antelope Valley Hospital, and Palmdale Regional Medical Center. After achieving his undergraduate degree in biology from D A V College in Jalandhar, India and his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (MBBS) degree as well as his internship at the Government Medical College located in Patiala, India, Dr. Pruthi has valid evidence of accurate achievement in the medical field.

Dr. Pruthi’s certification and licensure includes Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Sub-specialty of Gastroenterology, The California State Medical license, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) License, Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Identification and reporting of Child Abuse & Maltreatment (The University of the State of New York.) Fluoroscopy x-ray supervisor and operator (State of California Dept. of Health Services), Hospitals infection control certification and Certified Physician Investigator.

In addition, Dr. Pruthi professional and society membership consist of The American College of Physicians, The American Society of Internal Medicine, The American Gastroenterology Association, The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and The American College of Gastroenterology. As an author or co-author, his work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has been involved in and completed multiple Clinical Research projects over the last 10 years during practice.

Dr. Pruthi frequently gives community education and medical education lectures. He handles a wide spectrum of Gastrointestinal diseases with a special interest in Liver disease, Irritable bowel disease, Pancreatic and Gall Bladder disease. Dr. Pruthi is trained to perform all advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, Endoscopic stenting, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Liver Biopsies.
