Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) Study - Apple Valley

Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is an allergic reaction that happens in the esophagus. It can be triggered by food or something in the environment. Eosinophilic Esophagitis is something that is diagnosed through an upper endoscopy, also known as an EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy). EoE is often diagnosed as GERD (severe acide reflux) Symptoms can include:

• Dysphagia (difficulty or pain eating)
• Food going down slowly
• Food getting stuck
• Nausea
• Vomiting
